Religious Services at Manetto Hill Jewish Center are warm, egalitarian and communal. Services are performed in Hebrew and English. Our services are conducted by Rabbi Neil. Members of our congregation also take an active part in running the service.
Congregation participation, inspiring sermons from Rabbi Neil, stimulating guest speakers and conversation and the warmth and spirit of Jewish togetherness are the hallmarks of every Shabbat.
Friday evening services incorporate both Hebrew and English. Our Saturday morning services are recited mostly in Hebrew and transliteration booklets are available. Both services are fully egalitarian.
Check our calendar for the dates and times of holiday services, Friday Night and for our Saturday Morning Services.
Friday evening Shabbat services begin at 7:30 pm, unless we are having a Family Shabbat. Those special occasions will be listed in our calendar with the starting times as the start of Family Shabbat may vary.
We regularly incorporate special events within our Friday Night Services, including Musical Shabbat, Religious School Class Shabbat or themed Shabbats, such as our Aloha Shabbat or Shabbat Under the Stars.
Saturday Shabbat morning services begin at 10:00 a.m. If you have never been to a Saturday Shabbat Service, click here to read an article from My Jewish Learning explaining what you can expect on Saturday morning.
