The theme of the day was continuity, stability, and consistency, as articulated by Russ Blatt, President of MHJC. Blatt said to the congregation’s members that were present, “You have made a bold statement with this contract, and that statement is that we believe in Rabbi Neil and we plan on being here for quite a while.”

As MHJC looks toward the future, the day’s event served as a testament to Rabbi Neil Schuman’s enduring impact and a reminder of the strong bonds within the congregation and the wider Plainview community.
“It’s not just about the past 10 years,” Rabbi Neil said humbly during his remarks. “It’s about the journey we are all on together, and I look forward to continuing that journey with this incredible community.”
